A note from Michael

A small tin for the paws that go everywhere.

I like Paw Balm as a hands-on finish to a paw-care routine. The tin gives dry-pad conditioning a dedicated place beside your walking essentials. Checking each paw also creates a quiet moment to notice the little things, before the next round of exploring together.

The story behind Sunny Wags ↗

Two years of science.
One little tin of care.

Paw Balm brings carefully selected ingredients into a format made for everyday care. Two years of development connect ingredient selection, laboratory formulation and repeated refinement.

Laboratory formulation work for Paw Balm
2 yearsof formulation, testing and refinement.
  1. Select with purpose

Conditions paw pads with a balm applied directly to the area, helping maintain them as part of regular paw care.

  2. Formulate in the lab

Bring the selected ingredients together in a protective balm format, with attention to consistency and practical use.

  3. Test. Refine. Repeat.

Review formulation samples, refine the recipe and make the final directions clear for the routine it belongs in.

Review the care their paws need.

Review your notes on pad texture, intact skin and comfort during paw checks. Check tolerance, actual use and whether this care still fits your dog before reordering.

Use this as a three-month observation guide, not a promised result schedule. Apply topical care only as directed; these check-ins do not set application frequency. Persistent or worsening concerns need veterinary attention sooner.

A few things you may be wondering.

What is Paw Balm for?

It is designed to condition dry, rough paw pads. Apply it directly to intact pads as part of regular paw care.

How is it different from Skin + Paw Mist?

Paw Balm focuses on conditioning the paw pads. Skin + Paw Mist provides targeted topical skin and paw care in a spray. The Winter Paw Routine includes both formats.

When should I apply it?

Choose a calm moment and follow the label for amount, frequency, and drying time. No universal before-walk or bedtime schedule replaces the product directions.

Is it safe if my dog licks it?

Follow the finished label’s licking precautions. Lick-safe or edible claims cannot be made until the formula is confirmed.

Will it protect paws from hot pavement or extreme cold?

Do not rely on balm to make unsafe surfaces safe. Choose a comfortable walking time and suitable ground conditions.

Can I use it on bleeding or deeply cracked pads?

Have your veterinarian assess painful, bleeding, or deeply cracked pads before applying a care product. Routine conditioning is for suitable, intact skin.

Does this mean a guaranteed result in three months?

No. The timeline is a way to build a habit and compare observations. It is not a proven result schedule, and it does not replace the label or veterinary advice.
