The Good Day Guide / Tummy & digestion

A steadier routine starts at the bowl.

Start with mealtimes, familiar habits, and the little details worth keeping track of.

Notice more. Change less at random.

When cleanup changes, it is tempting to reach for something new immediately. Start by making the recent routine easier to see: the food, the treats, and anything different this week.

Stool appearance can be useful information for a veterinary visit. It does not identify a cause on its own. AAHA explains what stool changes can tell you.

Build a useful bowl history.

Keep it short enough that everyone who feeds your dog can help.

  1. List what goes in

Write down the main food, treats, toppers, chews, and anything from the table. Include medication or a new product.

  2. Write down the change

Note when stools changed, how often it happens, and any change in appetite or energy. A photo may help your veterinarian.

  3. Bring the whole picture

Share the notes rather than only the name of the last supplement you tried. Ask whether a stool sample would be useful.

A food change is a process.

When a food change is appropriate, a gradual transition can help a dog adjust. Monitor appetite, behavior, and stool quality along the way, and ask your veterinarian to tailor the change for a sensitive dog. The American Kennel Club explains gradual food transitions.

When the next step is your veterinarian.

Repeated vomiting, severe diarrhea, blood, marked weakness, or a painful or bloated abdomen call for prompt veterinary advice. Trouble keeping water down or suspected ingestion of a toxin or object should not wait for a new routine. AAHA lists important warning signs.

Keep the role of daily care clear.

Is a probiotic a replacement for a diagnosis?

No. A digestive-care product has a defined role in a routine; it does not explain persistent changes in your dog’s stools. Have recurring or concerning changes assessed.

How do I know how much to give?

Use the final product directions for your dog. A delivery schedule and a jar count are shopping choices, not instructions to increase a serving.

A thoughtful addition to the everyday.

Explore Daily Probiotic or the tummy-care collection once you have a clear starting point. Keep your dog’s current diet and any veterinary guidance in the picture.

This guide is general education and does not diagnose a digestive problem.
